Brooklyn ‘Blankie’ Project celebrated it’s soft launch at Parkside Playground’s Play for Peace event.

Friends of Parkside Playground put on an amazing event, Play for Peace,  in Prospect Lefferts Gardens October 9th, 2013. Kids, adults, city officials, officers and many more came out to show support for Peaceful Play in their neighborhood.

Brooklyn Blankie Project hosted their soft launch with the kids in attendance and were overwhelmed with the support and appreciation they received from the community. “We were able to create 20 blankets for children living in shelters and kick off the project with lots of energy!” – Lo Ehrhart, Founder.
