Founder of The Blankie Project

Lo Ehrhart, Founder

I spent my childhood moving around and constantly trying to find a sense of security. I started the Blankie Project to raise awareness and support for children who are homeless or going through tough transitions. It’s very important to me that every child feels love and support. It’s very easy to feel alone as a child, but just as easy to let a child know that they are not alone. I love art, I love community projects, and I am excited to reach our goal of 1000 blankets!

Nathalie Defrenne, Lead Organizer Brooklyn

“Hi! I’m Nathalie! A California native who revived NYC lifestyle by working with kids and doing yoga. I am a certified Holistic Health Counselor and cook during all my free time. Eating healthy is very important to me and I am constantly finding ways to find recipes that are kid friendly, easy and transportable. I work with kids everyday and try to inspire them to eat healthy food and enjoy it. On top of eating healthy, I strive for balance in this hectic world. Yoga has been a huge part in my life, through my travels, in my art and with kids. I enjoy incorporating yogic philosophy with a fun twist to help kids who also get caught up in this crazy city.”

Sabrina Rollins, Lead Organizer Fresno, CA

I am a lifelong resident of Fresno, California where I grew up being involved in the local Latino arts community. I have a passion for travel and learning about different cultures. I am currently studying to teach English as a second language. With my involvement in the Blankie Project, I hope to bring a sense of warmth and comfort to the children of my community who are less fortunate and educate others about the struggles these young children have to endure each day.
